Cathy Schaum, RN, BSN

Cathy works primarily in the Decatur and North Atlanta area and is responsible for clinical oversight of these clients. Overseeing medication management clients is also a part of her responsibility. Cathy earned a B.S .in Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing. With a career of over 25 years in healthcare prior to joining Personal Care, Cathy had extensive experience as a Nephrology nurse, and in administrative roles for assisted living and hospice care facilities.

Mackay Asbury

Mackay joined Personal Care, Inc. in 2022 as our Director of Marketing. He has over 25-years experience in the Atlanta Senior Care industry. Mackay is out and about supporting our community partners, developing new strategic relationships, and directing our inquiries and client onboarding processes.

Jill Knestaut

Jill Knestaut returned to Personal Care, Inc. in 2022. Jill has served in a variety of roles at Personal Care over the years, including scheduling, billing, and payroll; however, Jill returned to Personal Care to oversee the recruiting program and assist with our new software migration. 

Mahilda Pulliam

Mahilda moved to Georgia from Buffalo, New York, where she had worked in home care staffing for 19 years. Her passion for home care has given her the opportunity to work for Personal Care in Georgia. She started working for Personal Care in April of 2008, initially as our weekend on-call coordinator. Mahilda works with field staff, managing their schedules and ensuring client coverage.

Lilabet Choate, MSN, RN, FNP-BC

Lilabet earned her BSN and MSN from Emory School of Nursing. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner, who worked close to 30 years with Cardiology patients in the hospital and clinic settings. She has also enjoyed teaching and leadership roles in the hospital, clinic and University environments. Lilabet joined Peronsal Care in March of 2022. She assists Personal Care with new client assessments, client and caregiver supervisory visits, and our continuing education program.
