About Us
From the Owners
For over 40 years, Personal Care has served the needs of older adults in the Atlanta area. The key to our longevity lies in our commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of each client. From our first meeting, we work diligently to provide a personalized care plan tailored to fit your specific needs. Our philosophy is to promote independence, dignity, and well-being while honoring the rich histories, traditions, and contributions of each of our clients. We call this “Empowering Lives, Honoring Legacies.”
Our emphasis on employee development and retention is another reason for our company’s success. In fact, many of our employees have celebrated 10, 20 and 30 years with Personal Care! We believe the best care is given by those who feel genuinely known and cared for.
Many companies that provide home care are either satellite offices or franchises of national companies. We are proud to be a locally-owned and operated Atlanta company with deep roots in our community and a commitment to giving back.
These are just a few ways that Personal Care is distinctive in our approach to home care. Since 1980, we’ve been privileged to serve more than 4,000 families. We would be honored to serve yours as well.

The Personal Care Difference
Our Employees Set Us Apart
When care is implemented in the client’s home, reliability, consistency, quality of care, and positive relationships are of primary importance.
The clients of Personal Care can depend on the skills and integrity of our employees. Our high standards are reflected in our hiring procedures, the training we require, and the way in which we conduct business.
Personal Care’s average turnover rate is 73% less than the industry average, reflecting our commitment to building relationships with our employees, investing in our team, and offering career development opportunities. We are proud of our paid in-person continuing education program facilitated by industry experts, which helps our team members grow and excel.
Our mission is to provide exceptional care and support to you or your loved one. As professionals, employers and long-time advocates for older adults, we seek employees who have the ability and desire to provide competent care and to treat your loved one with respect and dignity.
Our Responsiveness
The responsiveness and professionalism of a provider is something you cannot measure until you work with an organization. Receiving most of our referrals by word of mouth from satisfied customers, Personal Care is known in Atlanta as a “best in class” organization for providing both excellent care and administrative support to our clients. We strive to set the industry standard in all aspects of our work.
