Meet the Team
Martha Clinkscales | Co-Owner and CEO
Martha has led Personal Care since 1986 with vision, resilience and heart. She is thankful to have called Personal Care her home for almost four decades and is grateful for all of the people who have become friends and family through the years.
Turner Bowman | Co-owner and COO
Turner first joined Personal Care as an intern in 2012. Today, he directs operations and growth initiatives for the company. A Certified Nurse Aide, Turner steps in to provide hands-on care when needed. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family, exploring Atlanta's food scene, and staying active on his bike and yoga mat.
Sam Artopoeus | Director, Client Services
Sam grew up playing hide-and-seek in the halls and homes of many Personal Care clients and partners. Over the years he has served in a variety of roles at the company. Like Turner, he is part of Martha’s family. Sam works closely with clients and family to ensure their care needs are understood and supported. He builds strong relationships and ensures each client receives attentive, personalized service. Outside of work, Sam enjoys reading all types of speculative fiction, trying new recipes, and supporting the Atlanta United.
Mackay Asbury | Director, Marketing
Mackay, an Atlanta DeKalb-native, leads outreach and marketing efforts for Personal Care, building connections in the community and ensuring families know the resources available to them. He is energized by the many connections to his community and beyond. Outside of work, Mackay performs his civic duty as a poll manager, may be found on his bicycle, or baking his famous chocolate chip cookies.
Detrie Bell, RN | Clinical Coordinator
Detrie provides clinical oversight and coordination to both clients and caregivers. Detrie brings a wealth of experience from her career start as a CNA, to her evolution into an RN, over 20 years ago. She has managed a palliative program and worked in hospice prior to joining the Personal Care team. Outside of work, Detrie is a foodie who enjoys trying new dishes, spending time with her family, and learning how to garden.
Danielle Brown | Case Coordinator
Dani manages scheduling and client needs with efficiency and care. She is known for her warmth and sense of humor. Outside of work, Dani enjoys spending time at home with her dog and cat, watching college football in the fall, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves every season.
Jenny Buckley, RN | Care Manager
Jenny supports Personal Care's clients through thoughtful care management, drawing on her years of experience as a hospice nurse and geriatric care manager. She helps families navigate complex care needs with compassion and candor. Outside of work, Jenny loves to spend time with her family, work on her (self-described) “pathetic” golf game, and root for her favorite football teams.
Lilabet Choate, MSN, RN, FNP-BC | Clinical Coordinator
Lilabet supports clients and families by coordinating care services and providing clinical guidance to caregivers. Prior to Personal Care, Lilabet spent almost 17 years serving as a Nurse Practitioner in Emory and Grady cardiology settings. Lilabet balances work through exercise - walking, hiking, yoga–traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Schaune Griffin | Special Projects
Schaune supervises our Long-Term Care insurance program and manages other special projects for Personal Care. With experience in grief counseling after loss, she brings both expertise and compassion, offering a listening ear to those who need support. When not working with the Personal Care team, Schaune enjoys spending time with her family, activities outdoors, and volunteering with community environmental and social justice groups.
Kamilla Hankins | Case Coordinator
Kamilla supports clients by managing their schedules and ensuring care runs smoothly. She takes pride in finding solutions and making sure every detail is covered. Outside of work, Kamilla enjoys spending time with family, trying new recipes, and taking long nature walks.
Joy Jessup | Bookkeeper
Joy manages our billing, payroll, payables and receivables. She is also a trained pastry chef that makes the most delicious treats for client and office events. Outside of work, Joy also works as a functional nutrition consultant, personal chef, and professional baker.
Jill Knestaut | Director, Case Coordination
Jill oversees the Case Coordination team, guiding caregivers and ensuring client schedules and needs are met. She is an advocate for both clients and staff. Outside of work, Jill enjoys exploring The Battery with her husband, enjoying restaurants, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
Kathy Lyons, RN | Clinical Coordinator
Kathy supports clients and caregivers with clinical oversight and coordination. Kathy has over two decades of experience across the continuum of senior care. She approaches the work with empathy and compassion every day. She has a deep appreciation for family life, a love for the New Jersey shore, and a lifelong passion for the New York Yankees.
Kailin Melish | HR & Marketing Support
If you come by our office (you should!), you will be warmly greeted by Kailin. She supports a number of functions, including recruiting, operations, marketing, and all things creative. Outside of work, Kailin adores animals, the outdoors, and spending her free time picking on the guitar and in antique stores.
Camille Robison | Case Coordinator
Camille “Millz” problem solves and manages schedules for a number of Personal Care clients. She is known for her steadiness and empathy. Outside of work, Camille enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new vegan recipes.
Cathy Schaum, RN | Client Services and Care Management Support
Cathy provides clinical and client support, bridging the gap between nursing expertise and hands-on service for families. She ensures clients feel cared for and supported through every step. Outside of work, Cathy enjoys exploring new restaurants, gardening, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Hank.
Karen Watson, RN | Clinical Coordinator
Karen has been connected to Personal Care for over 20 years, working to support clients and caregivers. She has worked in both orthopedic and pain management practices. Karen enjoys gardening, traveling with her husband, and grandparenting, in her free time
Katie Wessinger | HR & Operations Assistant
Katie supports our caregivers and office staff through her work in human resources. She helps ensure our policies and compliance processes run smoothly while also serving as a supportive resource for employees across the organization. Outside of work, you might find Katie exploring a new hiking trail or getting lost in a good book.
Maisie | Chief Morale Officer
Maisie's days are mostly spent sleeping on the office couch. She reminds us all to slow down, smile, and enjoy the moment.
